Ruby Summer Intensive

​July 11-15, July 25-29, & August 8-12, 2022

Our Ruby intensive is a half day, 10:00am - 3:00pm, program for younger dancers ages 5-9 (HDA levels 1-3).  Our Ruby intensive meets three days a week.  Classes will be taught by some of the industry’s finest faculty in a caring, nurturing and energized environment.  Dancers will increase their versatility and develop skills in a variety of genres including ballet, hip hop, jazz, and tap.  The talented Huntingdon Dance Academy faculty and visiting guest artists will create a challenging, energizing and diverse program that will inspire young dancers.

Emerald Summer Intensive

​July 11-15, July 25-29, &  August 8-12, 2022

Our Emerald intensive is a 3/4 day, 9:00am - 3:30pm, program for  dancers ages 8-13 (HDA levels 4-6).  The focus of the Emerald intensive is to advance the intermediate dancer by helping them hone their technique with two daily ballet classes.  Dancers will also be given the chance to explore a variety of other genres, such as contemporary, hip hop, jazz, modern, musical theater and tap.  A variety of instructors with various teaching styles will be teaching during the Emerald intensive.  Instructors include visiting guest artists as well as our talented Huntingdon Dance Academy faculty.  Students are expected to adapt to each teacher with respect and an eagerness to learn.  The Emerald intensive is designed challenge and inspire intermediate dancers.

Diamond Summer Intensive

​July 11-15, July 25-29, & August 8-12, 2022

Our Diamond intensive is a full day, 9:00am - 4:00pm, program for  dancers ages 11 and up (HDA levels 7-9). The focus of the Diamond intensive is to push advanced dancers beyond their current abilities and make them stronger, more confident dancers.  Diamond level dancers will have 3 hours of classical ballet technique classes with barre and center work.  Pointe work is taught at this level so it is recommended that dancers be currently en pointe or working diligently towards this goal.  Dancers will also be given the chance to explore a variety of other genres, such as contemporary, hip hop, jazz, modern, musical theater and tap.  To help prevent injury a stretch and conditioning class is offered daily.  A variety of instructors with various teaching styles will be teaching during the Diamond intensive.  Instructors include visiting guest artists as well as our talented Huntingdon Dance Academy faculty.  Students are expected to adapt to each teacher with respect and an eagerness to learn.  The Diamond intensive is designed to challenge and energize advanced dancers.

Mini Dance Camps

Encanto: July 27th - 29th (9:00am - 12:00pm)
​Once Upon a Time: August 1st-3rd (9:00am-12:00pm)

Mini Dance Camps are being offered for dancers 3-6 years of age. Through age-appropriate ballet classes and activities, students are immersed in a dance-themed adventure they won’t soon forget. Each class will include pre-ballet technique and a fun craft. We will be holding two different camps for young dancers this summer which will each have their own theme and magical setting. Join us for one week or both! Each camp is $75 (10% for both)
