The Huntingdon Regional Ballet  (HRB),
is an ensemble of dedicated dancers who want to take the stage at every opportunity. Huntingdon Regional Ballet Dancers will focus on classical ballet productions, community outreach. The dancers selected to perform in the regional ballet are a direct representation of our program within the community of Huntingdon and the ballet world.

WHAT DANCING IS TO ME
I have been dancing since I was 4 years old, and I am happy to say that every year of my career has been done at Huntingdon Dance Academy. I have always found dance as a way to escape the reality of the world and pour my emotions into this beautiful art form. HDA has forever pushed me to better my technique and become the best version of myself that I can be.

Over the years, I have participated in many of their side companies such as the competition team, HDC. This has given me experience in a competitive world and taught me how to push myself to achieve my biggest goals. I have also participated in HRB, Huntingdon Regional Ballet. With that, I have been in numerous ballet productions with amazing roles which include: The Nutcracker, Alice in Wonderland, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Cinderella, Three Tales of the Big Bad Wolf, and most recently The Little Mermaid. I have even joined the small group of dancers attending Regional Dance America last year for the first time.

Huntingdon Dance Academy is overall just an amazing place to better yourself in dance and all aspects of life. They have provided me with many opportunities at such a young age, and I am grateful to call them my home. - M. Byler
